Exercise No. 3 - Human Face

Draw Me
(Exercise No. 3 Human Face)

Description:

During this Exercise, students were given the guides on what to follow upon drawing the human face. First, they need to draw an oval that would constitute the shape of our faces. Next they were tasked to put divisions on the oval that would serve as the guiding lines to some part of a human face like the eyes, nose and mouth. Thereafter, they were allowed to draw some other additional features of a human face like the face lines, eyebrows, the hair and etc. They used pencil and ruler in this activity.

LEARNING

I’ve wanted to draw a human face that’s at least 60% similar to the real face and good thing, this activity was done during our EdTech2 laboratory class which had helped me achieve that aim. Though we only drew faces with uniform angle, I mean everything were facing straight to the viewer, still the concepts that I have learned would definitely help me form faces with varying angles guided by the steps introduced by our instructor. I know it won’t be easy doing portraits, though these need far advanced skills, but still everything that I have learned from this activity would be useful in accomplishing such personal aims.
